Christmas in New Harmony, 2008

So it is Christmas in New Harmony! Last week was the town Christmas celebration, complete with Christmas Parade. Kara joined us and we were able to get started with decorating our house. All of the Christmas decorations have been in storage for so long, it was quite fun to get them all out again.
Some people have gone all out in the Christmas decorating. Here is a scene from my favorite holiday movie, A Christmas Story. Most of you should recognize it and if you don't, watch the movie on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day on TBS.

It snowed on Saturday morning. Just a dusting, but enough to set the mood.

The Santa Chicken. I'm not sure what you have to do to earn this place of honor in the New Harmony Christmas Parade.
