SNOWED IN!!!

Well, it's been a very white Christmas in Albuquerque, NM, which is a very rare thing. We had a record snowfall all weekend and it finally stopped Saturday evening. Of course, in ABQ fashion, it is warm, clear and bright today so the snow is melting. In our yard, the deepest measurement was 13" of accumulation.

And yes, Katie the snow dog LOVED it!

First, she had to dig the ball out of the snow, then she lost it every time she threw it up in the air! It was great fun to huddle around the kitchen window and watch her.

When we drove here from TN we were anticipating bad weather, but luckily we had no problems. There was snow leftover from the storm on the 20th and it was very beautiful in the mountains.
