Maiden Voyage Success!

We went to Pickett State Park last week for the maiden voyage and it was a huge success. The Airstream and truck did great. The gas mileage was not as bad as we feared--it got 10 miles per gallon. The weather was really very hot but we persevered and went on hikes every day, then retired to the cool air conditioning of the Airstream. Steve even cooked meals!! We are looking forward to departing for Ely, Minnesota on August 1st!
